All enlisted in Company C of the First Michigan Sharpshooters on December 27, 1862. All Mustered March 31, 1863.
Ransom was the only one to survive the Civil War. He was taken prisoner at Petersburg, Virginia on June 17, 1864. Discharged at Annapolis, Maryland, May 29, 1865.
Mathew C. Sharp died of disease at Chicago, Illinois on October 17, 1863.
Warren Sharp died on July 13, 1864 of wounds received in action at Petersburg, Virginia, June 30, 1864.
