Commissioned June 19, 1861. Mustered Aug. 28, 1861. Commissioned Captain June 1, 1862. Mustered June 1, 1862. Wounded in action at Wilderness, Va., May 6, 1864. Right arm amputated. Discharged Nov. 6, 1864. Captain, Eighteenth Regiment, Veteran Reserve Corps, Nov. 7, 1864. Mustered out Nov. 13, 1865.
