Included in this image are the offices, mills, and lumber yards. Ward Bros. started out running a saw mill and dimension factory in 1895, and began manufacturing maple and beech flooring in 1902. The factory in the image was built in 1905. Ward Bros. also operated a saw mill and retail coal and lumber yarn, both of which are shown in this image.
